Space efect in a webpage

Hy folks,
	could you tell me if it is possible to put a space effect as a background
in HTML? And how?
	I know that there is a space applet for that, however in the 800x600
resolution, the computer slows dow a "bit" :). Problably, it could be
better if it was a animation gif, but I can't find that, yet.

	Is there another way of doing this?
