Well, I took the plunge last night and bought some software for my
embrionic web development business.
I've been doing Intranet stuff here at Boeing for almost two years. Now
I have a couple of customers to get my own business started. I don't
have a lot of money so I had to settle for PSP 4.14 -- $49.99 at Best
Buy; comes with CD and a book. (Yes, I've read all the messages about
how much better PhotoShop is and if anybody out there will loan me $600
I'll buy it in a heartbeat!)
I recall reading in a post to this list a while back that PSP isn't
real good at resizing and found it to be true here at work.
Are there any applications out there (that would fit into my almost
nonexistent software budget) that are better at resizing that PSP?
Even if that's the ONLY thing the app is good for, if the total
price of the two is *way* under $600 it might do me for starters.
BTW, the first profits from the business go to getting a bigger monitor,
*then* Photoshop.:) then my own scanner and then ....
