Actually, by copyright law, unless you've specified a buyout in the
contract, you retain all rights to your work.  Which means only you have
the right to change your work!  I would HIGHLY recommend that you pick
up a copy of the Graphic Artists Guild Handbook and look at the
contracts in the back, and browse through the copyright section.  It's
not as boring as it sounds and you'd be astounded as to how many rights
you really have, and how much the law is on your side.
