Hey there! I just created a site for the Hotter 'n Hell Hundred bike race
we have here in Wichita Falls, Texas. I'm a bit concerned about the
download time of a table graphic I created at
http://www.trnonline.com/sites/hh100/index2.html, which clock at 127
seconds or so on a 33.6 modem to complete. Would anyone care to take a
crack at it or individual pieces to see if they can get download times less
and still have it look good (ie. no pixelation)? A challenge for you!
I took alot of these images into a neat graphics program called Web
Graphics Optimizer 3.0 to test it out and it seems to do a nice job of
compression, but I'm wondering just how low I could go on this graphic. I'm
still working on it myself, to get the compression to max and still
maintain clarity. Thought I might throw it your way and see what others
come up with.
Thanks,
Eve
