*The video card has no effect on rendering time. This is primarily based on
*processors and ram. The more you have, the better. Software has to be
*multithreaded to take advantage of the second processor. I think that the
*big three, alias, softimage, and Max only support up to two processors.
So, speaking of this dual processor thing... is it worth it to have such a
motherboard? Not only for graphics, of course, but how effective are these
beasts? Last one I priced was around $500. Do the speeds really fly?
If I had this, 128MB of RAM and a good AGP video card with lots of video
memory (not to mention a BIG monitor), would this rock my graphic/web
design world? :)
