Ahem..*clearin' throat*

I seem to have fixed my background problem. Thanks to Keith, who very
kindly explained the intricacies of tiled backgrounds to me, and Kevin's
input, along with Sue's patience, it suddenly dawned on me that by tiling
the background, it was doing exactly the opposite of what I wanted it to do. 

So, I shall now go and sit in the corner, LOL.
