Hi guys...
I'm looking for some advice here...what makes a portfolio *really* spiffy ?
I need to make a printed portfolio. Until now, my websites have kinda
served the purpose, but a prospective client/agency has asked for a hard
copy and I am little stumped as to how it should be laid out.
Should it just include my designs or should the whole page, text and all,
be included. In other words, should it look like a web site on paper ?
Also, I guess my resume should be included ?
If I'm on the right track here, I *think* it should be along the lines of a
good sales presentation without being too "pitchy/hard sell"...yes ?
Although, on the other hand, I AM trying to sell myself..er.. so to speak LOL
The other thing is that I'm having a real problem getting my graphics to
print out really well. They're okay..but they're not wonderful and I'm sure
I could make them better.
All my graphics are .gifs and I have tried changing the format to .jpg,
.png and .tiff but it seems to make little different. I have a Canon
Bubblejet printer and I don't recall having this problem before. All colors
have always printed out nice and crisp until now.
Am I asking too much for the colors to be as intense and crisp as they are
on the web sites ?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
TIA
Kym
