Well, don't know if anybody really cares about this, but then maybe
you do.

I downloaded Gecko (Netscape 5) beta to try it out and see how it runs.

Well, it crashed 5... or was it 6 times in the span of about 15 minutes.

Twice just trying to go to my business site which renders just fine in IE,
Netscape 4.08
& Opera 3.60.

The FullCircle program for automatic bug reporting stinks, for some reason
couldn't figure out
the proxy server but I wasn't using one.

So it's now gone from Download to Trash Bin... EMPTY Trash Bin...

However having said that I did see some good features... the ability to add
skinz (they call them XUL)
and they do have support now for the CSS Hover and text decoration:
underline overline;

Other than that I'm not sure... I didn't have the patience to keep
restarting it. But if the little support I was
able to notice is any indication of the future of Gecko then I think I may
convert... that is when they get
the darn thing to stop crashing on me.
