Hi Scott,

I was taught a process for communicating a message. Didn't matter if the
message was written, verbal, visual. 1st. Step was to figure out what it is
you want to communicate. 2nd Step is to analyze your audience. 3rd Step is to
adapt your message to your audience.

There is more to the process, but this should get you started. You will have
to answer your own questions.
