Hi Dana
The best I have found in my experience is to make it a link to the pdf.
Provide size of the file, and also provide a link to the free Adobe Reader,
in case the person doesn't have it yet.
A friend once took my graphical pdf file (for a poster), and tried to show
it as a graphic image on his page. It was a big mistake, as it crashed my
whole system when it tried to load. That was the first time, the second
time, it took forever to download and view, and then it didn't show it
properly. I had even made small gif images he could use to show what was in
the pdf file, and to use as a link, but he didn't want to use those. Until
he finally got a few other complaints, that was... then he got it as a
link, and set it up so it wouldn't crash.
This is a link to my version of what I just mentioned, for an example of
what I did.
