Isn't that your normal state of mind Roger? ;-) j/k!!

I don't know how to achieve this exactly in Paint Shop Pro as I don't use=20
it but look for something called DuoTones in the help files and you should=
=20
be able to get the effect you want. If you have access to Photoshop this=20
can be easily done in it.

You could do a similar effect using blend modes too (not masks). I think=20
you have Fireworks too right? In any case, in Photoshop and even in PSP=20
I'm sure, you could fill a layer above the image with a color of your=20
choice (like blue) then change its blend mode to either Screen, Color or=20
Tint and play with the opacity of that layer (Screen works best). In=20
Fireworks you'd simply draw a rectangle of the same size as the image and=20
also change its blend mode and opacity as above. In both Photoshop and=20
Fireworks 4, the blend modes and opacity controls are in each respective=20
apps layers panels. I have no idea where they are in PSP. In all cases it=
=20
would look better if the underlying image was "greyscaled" first so you may=
=20
want to make a copy of that image first.

There are other non destructive ways to do this in Fireworks using effects=
=20
but you asked for ways to do it in PSP. I'll tell you other Fireworks=20
methods if you want later.

HTH!
