I arrive at new employment, to do bookkeeping and other jobs as assigned.

In previous employment, I updated web pages, using BBEdit, at my
employer's direction.

In this new place I have been given scanned road maps, covering 200
miles or more, and told that they should appear as presented (8.5 x
11) on the web, be printed from the web and easily read. All to be
done in one page size.

The previous staff say yes that is what happened, but since I have
arrived the maps seem to have gotten out of focus, or consist of 4-5
pages instead of the one page that normaly were printed before my
arrival.

I have not scanned these maps, but have downloaded them from
previously existing websites and, at first taken them on "face
value". Bad mistake.

If you understand what I am trying to say and have an inkling, please
let me know.

All I have been able to suggest is that the previous printouts were
done from hard drive, not from web. Or that my scanner is not
qualified to do this type of scanning.

My questions are sincere, my knowledge on this subject is sincerely inept.

Linda
