The structure of your table is such that the images are seperated by a "cell
wall".  The longer image in the left hand side of the table is forcing the
right side of the table to conform.
If the contents could be put inside a single cell, it wouldn't be affected by
the left  hand side.
I made a couple of example graphics from screen shots using a WYSWYG editor.
The table outlines are easy to see.

Take a look at:

It shows the tables before and after I trimmed the table down to two cells,
leaving your fade1.jpg directly under the header graphic.

I did this in just a few minutes so it may not be very clear. I hope it helps
in some way.
