Glass effect for text

Hi all,

I am trying to make text appear to be colored glass...this text will be on top
of an image...an exact example of what I am trying to do is on this page,
(http://www.actionxchange.com/textfx.cfm), with a program for doing it but I
cannot figure it out.  Any help would be appreciated.
