I wrote last week about a scan I needed of a b&w line art graphic for use
on a web site and in print. Several people responded, some with elaborate
information. Jayse gave me a procedure to ask them to follow at K****'* and
I took that route first.

When my friend returned to K****'* with this procedure she was informed
that it was the procedure that had been used for the original scans.
Rescanning produced virtually identical results. My SO suggested that
instead of importing directly into Clarisworks, that I open the TIFs with
Graphic Converter, copy, switch to Clarisworks, and paste from the
clipboard. This seems to have fixed the problem. I have no idea why.

The embedded text will need tweaking before it can be used in a web page,
but the image portion looks great.

Again, thanks to all who helped me through this time of trial.
