Hey Fusion,
I own an HP scanjet 5p and I advise you not to buy it. The software leaves
MUCH to be desired, and the picture quality is poor IMHO.I don't know if
this holds true for the 6100C, but I would be cautious.
The articles I have seen on Epson scanners rates them highly so I think you
are headed in the right direction anyway.
Just my opinions and observations...:)
