Summary: Websafe colors *must* shift on 16-bit displays, and different
renderers can shift these colors in different ways. To appear to have a GIF
match the HTML background, either:
a)  Matte the graphic to the general background color and then eyedropper
it out (so you have a non-rectangular image which antialiases to the HTML);
or
b)  Use a tiling GIF background of the desired color too (so you're not
invoking two different renderers for HTML and GIF color shifting).
