Dreamweaver 2 has "Command" files... JavaScript that can manipulate the
current document you're working on. It's a way to extend and automate the
tool. Command files are used for the color themes, the "Clean Up HTML"
Command, and many more.

If you install Fireworks 2 after Dreamweaver 2 then the installer can add a
special Command file to your Dreamweaver installation. This will let you
select an image in Dreamweaver and call up the Fireworks compression engine
from the Dreamweaver Command menu. This is a good way to cut graphic size
down to the minimum, to resize graphics in the HTML page without worrying
about extra pixels, more.

(This doesn't call up the whole Fireworks application... just the
compression engine. You don't need to worry about multiple files on disk...
it's all automatic.)

If you installed Dreamweaver 2 after Fireworks 2.02, then the Fireworks
installer would not have been able to install these files into Dreamweaver
(because Dreamweaver wasn't there yet!). If you run the Fireworks 2.02
installer again then you should see the option to add this ability to your
copy of Dreamweaver.
