For sure. You've got independent control over both your Fill and your Stroke.

For a stroked shape, choose a smooth-edged brush... the Pencil types
usually have crisp edges, but most of the other brushes have smooth edges.

For an unstroked shape, set the Fill Inspector to either Hard edge, or
Antialiased, or Feather, whichever you wish.

These are _live_vector_shapes_ and can be restroked at any time... you can
change any part of a stroke in any session, so it's a *lot* more flexible
than what you'd find in older photo-processing types of tools.
