Sorry, not sure what the question is... once you mentioned paintballing I
sort of started daydreaming.... ;-)

Is this "How can I make two lines one?" then dragging endpoints together
and hitting "Join" can do it.

If it's instead "If I start with a bunch of separate disconnected lines,
how can I give them all one fill?" then connecting the various endpoints
with the Pen Tool can help, although it's easiest if you follow the order
they were drawn in.

For "If I joined together a path that has fills for many
previously-disconnected lines, then what's the easiest way to clean it up?"
then usually tracing over the entire shape with the Pen Tool and discarding
the confused points is the fastest way to get on-track.

Do any of these help with that project there...?
