G'day,

This isn't a purely javascript question, but please bear with me...

Sick of having to constantly please my clients as a web designer, I've
finally decided to set up my own business where I have no one to answer to
but myself. I'm in the process of designing a web site for this venture and
have come across a problem when using the 'onmouseover' javascript command.

I currently have the site set up with the generic side toolbar (using
tables). I'm using a javascript I tore from another site (with permission)
to make the buttons light up when the pointer moves over it (using the
onmouseover command). Everything works fine when I'm in high color mode (
ie greater than 256 colors) but as soon as I switch to 256 colors, the
mouseover graphics' colors change (its as if the colors have been
inversed). There are also many problems when the browsert tries to redraw
the image. I was wondering if this problem is specific of Navigator 4.03
and jsut the mac version. (The problem, doesn't occur in NN 3.0, NN 2.0 or
IE 3.0 [all for mac] because they don't recognise the onmouseover commands).

Any suggestions on how to overcome this would also be greatly appreciated.
The URL for the page is http://www.netspace.net.au/~ally/vce/welcome.htm .
The site is still being developed and most of the links are empty. I would
also appreciate any feedback / criticism / comments.

Thanks in advance,

/\lly
