taking webimages to print

I recently built a site where the owner loves the front graphic so much she
wants to use it on her product labels, stationary and catalog. This could
be good but the image of course is in 72 dpi - which from what I understand
and my own attempts doesn't print well.

If anyone has done this and could share some insights I would be very
grateful. I am thinking I need to rebuild the image in CMYK.
