This needs to be done on a Macintosh G4: I need to change a bunch of 24-bit jpeg images to 4-bit grayscale. It would be best if I could have some sort of "drop folder" so when any image is placed in that folder it gets processed and saved into another folder. I would like to preserve my originals. Can this be done with an AppleScript attached to a folder action? We have Photoshop 5.5. Is this possible? Someone suggested that I could use GraphicConverter (Shareware that I now have) to do batch processing. If anyone has experience doing something like this (particularly the "drop folder" part), please let me know. ---------------------- Rob Bushman Web Developer mailto:rbushman(at)earthlink.net
