Additional material

I'm currently marking up "Through the Looking Glass", and I'm using an old
"dead-tree" copy, and a more recent annotated copy ("The Annotated Alice",
by Martin Gardner), to help me figure out what's what.

Query 2:
Both hard copies I have contain additional material to that present in the
etext, such as:
A subtitle for the book
A chess game (including a diagram - yet another post to follow)
A preface poem
An author's preface - apparently not present in the original edition
(published 1871), but added by the author in 1896. This concerns an
explanation of the chess game, and some notes for the pronounciation of
invented words in the poem "Jabberwocky", which is part of the book.
An additional word in the text at the start of the last chapter.

Should I add this material to my xml markup version? And change the edition
information at the start of the document (it currently says "THE MILLENNIUM
FULCRUM EDITION 1.7" - my dead-tree copy was a Miniature Edition, published
by MacMillan, London 1908 (reprinted 1921))? But should this then become a
new etext version (ie. lglass19.xxx, rather than lglass18.xxx), and should
it be issued by Project Gutenberg?

Query 2a:
My hard copy also contains some additional material at the end of the book,
namely:
"An Easter Greeting to Every Child Who Loves Alice" (written in the form of
a letter), by Lewis Carroll, Easter 1876, and
"Christmas Greetings" (in the form of a poem), Christmas 1887.

Should I include this material also?
