Several unique opportunities are available at his world-class Experience Music
Project, (EMP), a 140,000 square-foot interactive music museum opening in
Seattle in mid-2000.  This museum, which celebrates and explores creativity and
innovation as expressed in American popular music and exemplified by rock
n�roll, is founded by Paul G. Allen and designed by world renowned architect
Frank O. Gehry.  EMP will offer a variety of traditional and hands-on exhibits,
educational programs, a specialized electronic library, a multimedia ride-like
attraction, concerts, lectures, restaurant and retail store.  Experience Music
Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization encouraging visitors of all ages
and backgrounds to listen, learn and participate in music.

HELP DESK LEAD
We are seeking a strong individual to be the technical lead of Desktop Support
for all Experience Music Project departments.  This is a �hands-on� position
that will require this person to successfully guide and participate in the
installation and maintenance of the Experience Music Project IS desktop
systems.  These responsibilities also include repairs, adds, moves and changes
to support the needs of 115 highly technical and creative people.  This
challenging opportunity requires a B.A./B.S. degree and 3 years related
experience; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.  You must be highly proficient on PC
hardware, Windows NT and Windows 95/98, Ethernet, TCP/IP and have some
experience working with Macintosh computers.  Microsoft and hardware vendor
certifications: working knowledge of UNIX and Northern Telecom Meridian
telephony systems is a plus.  Diplomatic skills and the ability to learn in a
fast paced environment are required.  The ability to lift up to 40 pounds and a
valid drivers license are required.

SYSTEMS OPERATIONS LEAD
In this role you will lead the back office support team for Experience Music
Project.  This is a �hands-on�   position which includes responsibility for
procurement, installation and support of all file/print/multi-media server
systems, plus developing and implementing various procedures and monitoring
devices which enable the team to maintain a consistently high level of
service.  In addition, the Operations team will be required to maintain user
accounts, profiles, rights and security assignments for Experience Music
Project�s shared Windows NT Domains.  To be considered for this vital and
exciting position, your background   should include demonstrable in-depth
knowledge of Microsoft Backoffice software, including but not limited to
Transaction Server, Information Server, Proxy Server, RAS, PPT, VPN, WEB
platform support with knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, Domain Administration and
Internet Security.  This challenging opportunity requires a B.A./B.S. degree
and 3 years related work experience administering a Microsoft NT network; or 5
years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of
education and experience.  Microsoft CSE certification highly desired;
additional Microsoft and hardware vendor certifications and working  knowledge
of UNIX a plus.  The ability to lift up to 40 pounds and a valid drivers
license are required.

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER - IMAGINE NO BANDWIDTH CONSTRAINTS!
As this cutting edge developer, you will be help build the ultimate web
experience with the biggest pipe, the fastest connections and the latest
tools.  You will be responsible for investigating and suggesting new Web
technologies such as browsers, development languages and plug-ins, and for the
development of software applications to provide the technical architecture and
user environments of Web sites or web-based software products.  To perform this
job successfully a solid understanding of the following is required: Microsoft
Windows 95, MS NT 4.0 Workstation, NT 4.0 Enterprise Server (with emphasis in
Server farms and NT clusters); MS IIS 4.0 HTTP/FTP Real Audio server and other
streaming Client/Server technologies.  Experience with Web development and
administration in a MS Visual Interdev, MS Enterprise SQL Server (v6.5) and MS
Visual SourceSafe is necessary.  Proven scripting skills with ASP, HTML, DHTML,
XML, VB Script JavaScript and PERL; proven programming skills in C, C++, Java,
VB, ISAPI and ActiveX environments is required.  Familiarity with ADO scripting
using ASP is a plus as is TCP/IP, SSL, WINS, DNS, DHCP, and PC MAC and network
hardware.  A B.A./B.S. degree and up to 3 years of related experience; or 5
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience is required.  E.Commerce experience is a plus!   

SUPPORT TECHNICIANS
In this challenging role you will provide Desktop PC Support (in several
locations in the Puget Sound area), including installation, repairs, adds,
moves and changes for up to 115 highly technical and creative people.  Your
background including 2-3 years of experience in Desktop Support; proficient on
PC hardware, Windows NT and 95/98 operating systems, Ethernet networks, TCP/IP
protocol and experience with Macintosh computers hardware and software will
place you in consideration for this position.  Microsoft and hardware vendor
certifications will be heavily emphasized.  Working knowledge of UNIX a plus. 
Good �bedside manner�, ability to learn in a fast paced environment and
attention to detail is required.   As is some amount of after-hours and on-call
work plus the ability to lift 40 pounds.  Valid drivers license required.
