Strategestic, Inc., is a startup interactive/Internet advertising agency in the
San Francisco Bay Area, with regional offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, and
Seattle.  Strategestic focuses on delivering high-end strategic, creative, and
technical Internet solutions to medium and large businesses.

Strategestic is currently looking to fill a Senior Web Production Engineer (a
Web development position) opening in the following locations: San Francisco,
Los Angeles, San Diego, and Seattle areas.  Financial compensation strongly
based on experience.  Potential for large stock options based on performance.

The Senior Web Production Engineer is a Web production position, providing a
senior level of Web development services, reporting to the Online Technology
Director. Working with the Online Technology Director, this position will be
responsible for providing high-end Web client-side development services for
Strategestic client projects (focus is on HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP, CSS,
DHTML, etc.) This candidate will be a seasoned expert in Web production, and
will have a special gift for developing frontend solutions that connect the
final product to traditional, evolving, and new business models and strategies.

* 5+ years of programming experience, at least 1 of which was in a senior
production position, and at least 4 of which were for Web/Internet production.
* High-tech experience preferred; experience with advertising agencies also
preferred.
* Expert, high-end programming talent; must be able to conceptualize
architecture and framework, as well as work from other ideas, and must be able
to create unique, original, compact, and high-speed code.
* Demonstrated comprehension of online technologies, and solid experience
developing comprehensive Web sites; experience developing for CD-ROM, kiosk's,
and other platforms a plus.
* Comprehensive understanding of user interface design issues, limitations of
technology, Web color theories, cross-platform and cross-browser programming,
and how Web page and CGI programming relate to them.
* Extensive programming abilities in HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP, CSS,
DHTML.  Capabilities in C/C++, Perl, CGI development, SQL, Tcl, and Java a huge
plus.  Additional languages a plus. 
* 4-year degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other relevant
field or equivalent experience is preferred.
