Strategestic, Inc., is a startup interactive/Internet advertising agency in the
San Francisco Bay Area, with regional offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, and
Seattle.  Strategestic focuses on delivering high-end strategic, creative, and
technical Internet solutions to medium and large businesses.

Strategestic is currently looking to fill an Online Technology Director opening
in the following locations: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Seattle
areas.  Financial compensation strongly based on experience.  Potential for
large stock options based on performance.

The Online Technology Director is a technology production and technology
management position interfacing directly with EdgeMedia clients and the
Executive Producer. Working with the technology director's team, other
EdgeMedia directors, and the client, this position will be responsible for
leading the technological principals and strategy behind each project for
EdgeMedia clients. This position will also work with the Executive Producer and
other EdgeMedia directors to develop technology implementation plans, budgets,
proposals, and Web site blueprints, offering information to the data field
level. This candidate will be a seasoned expert in technology implementation,
and will have a special gift for developing backend and frontend solutions that
connect the final product to traditional, evolving, and new business models and
strategies.

* 8+ years of technology implementation, programming/engineering, and systems
analysis experience, at least 3 of which were in a senior technical
implementation position, and at least 4 of which were for Web/Internet
technologies.
* At least 4 years technology management experience, responsible for building
new teams, expanding teams, managing teams, and managing client relationships.
* High-tech experience preferred; experience with advertising agencies also
preferred.
* Proven expertise in developing implementation plans that meet the needs of
business, marketing, sales, public relations, and communications strategies.
* Proven expertise in producing technical assets and managing technical assets
for Web sites or other Internet technologies is required.
* Implementation expertise in Oracle, Informix, Sybase, Vignette StoryServer,
Verity, MySQL, etc. at small, medium, and enterprise-wide levels.
* Systems administration experience on Unix and NT platforms.
* Web server systems administration experience in Apache, SuiteSpot, Enterprise
Server, IIS, etc.
* Extensive programming abilities in C/C++, Perl, CGI development, Tcl, SQL,
HTML, and Java; additional languages a plus.
* Extensive understanding of messaging products and their implementation
(Exchange, MAPI, etc.) on a small, medium, and enterprise-wide level.
* Extensive understanding of workstation, server, and enterprise system
security 
Demonstrated comprehension of online technologies, and solid experience
developing innovative implementations powered by a wide range of Internet
technologies and initiatives.
* Extensive understanding of technology architecture and implementation issues,
limitations of technology, etc.
* Understanding of Web cross-platform and cross-browser technical production,
etc. 
* 4-year degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other relevant
field or equivalent experience is preferred; Masters degree helpful.
