DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY POSITION: 

The Director of Technology is responsible for managing, 
directing and coordinating all information systems and 
technology activities. Responsible for technology strategies 
for current and future projects, which involves the 
exploration of new areas and opportunities that might improve 
creativity and efficiency while reducing cost. Will take the 
role of keeping abreast of the latest advances in Web 
hardware, software and application technologies. Evaluate and 
recommend new technology opportunities that would help ensure 
a cutting edge position in the market place. The DoT will 
build, manage, develop and motivate a team of software 
engineers and MIS staff. The DoT will work closely with the 
Production, Marketing and Sales staff to ensure seamless 
operations on client projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

* Proposal Writing, Scheduling, and Budgeting 
* Defines and creates the architecture on projects 
* Ensures the quality of all technical work 
* Develop and Implement Processes and Procedures for 
Engineering and MIS departments 
* Develops technology knowledge in Engineering and MIS staff 
* Establishes and maintains technology vendor relations. 
* Stays abreast of new/alternative technologies and ensures 
proper research in critical areas 
* Assists in sales and business development efforts, as 
required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong expertise with 
current Internet technologies and applications, including 
both Windows and Unix platforms. Ability to manage growth of 
an expanding organization, and leadership and day-to-day 
management of a staff.
