FULL TIME Position
MAGNET INTERACTIVE (Culver City, CA)

QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance 
Analyst is responsible for quality assurance of Magnet Interactive web 
sites, consumer and business software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be part of the development team for web sites and software titles of 
every sort. 

Develop and reviewing test plans and recommending improvements. 
Execute system test plans Participate in focus group testing during the 
prototype stage of development.

Test web sites and software for functional quality, i.e., finding bugs and
suggesting solutions.

Platform and browser testing of web sites and software to ensure that it
runs properly on all hardware and software configurations. 

Regression testing of reworked products to validate that defects have been
repaired. 

Prepare test reports at the end of system testing that summarize product
defects.

Track and report the status of defects and enhancements. Represent QA as a
reviewer in structured reviews of development deliverables.

Make suggestions to improve product designs and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS 

AA/BS degree or equivalent experience 
Experience providing QA / QC for commercial software products is a plus 
Knowledge of the Web preferred 
Dependability, logic and perseverance 
Ability to meet deadlines 
Ability to work successfully in a team environment 
Communications skills are crucial 
Willingness to grow with a young, progressive company
