** Position: HTML Developer / Technical Writer

Announcement: Immediate opening available for HTML developers with strong 
technical writing skills. Growing Web Development department of major 
corporation has immediate openings for skilled technical writers with HTML 
experience. Responsibilities include researching and writing about new 
features, updating existing documentation, performing peer edits and 
working with graphic artists. Work in a casual, relaxed setting at our 
International Headquarters in suburban Birmingham. You'll have access to 
state-of-the-art hardware and development tools while working with other 
highly skilled developers in a leading edge Microsoft environment.

Requirements: 4+ years technical writing experience; knowledge of Microsoft 
Word, HTML, HomeSite or any other HTML editor; experience documenting 
on-line and on paper. BA in English, Journalism, Technical Communication, 
or related field.

Preferences: Familiarity with Visio or any flow-charting software is a plus.
Non-tech Skills: Excellent communication skills; quick learner; 
self-starter (initiative will be rewarded); ability to work well in a 
structured team environment; dedication to staying current in Web 
development technologies.
