world! Feed The Monster Media seeks a talented Server Software Engineer to 
join its team of world-class technology gurus who are developing FTMM�s 
multiple high-visibility, genre specific, multimedia rich and avant-garde

As a Server Software Engineer at FTM you will be directly responsible for 
engineering efficient and innovative web server-side process architectures. 
You will utilize your knowledge of web server-side application processing to 
enhance FTMM radio web applications by designing an intelligent web 
application-processing environments running on FTMM web servers that can 
handle the multimedia and content rich applications of tomorrow�s websites. 
You will collaborate daily with Directors from Engineering, MIS and Content 
in order to define system requirements and communicate your innovative 
solutions and ideas. Finally, you will occasionally spend time working with 
3�rd party developers and product integrators to ensure seamless integration 
and functioning with the FTMM family of radio webs.
 
As the ideal candidate you have 3-5 years of web application development or 
commercial software development experience and a good understanding of how 
web applications work with the server and the browser. Additionally, you 
have significant experience with Microsoft Component Technologies such as 
Active Server Pages, Component Object Models (COM) and MTS. You also know 
how to design architectures that can be easily scaled and reused/ported to 
similar sites in the future. Additionally, you have an understanding of 
threading techniques to deal with web server load efficiently. Your 
understanding of the internet space and web application technology is 
cutting edge and you have had previous experience with the back end 
operations of a large scale website. 

Finally, you possess excellent written and oral communications skills 
and are able to work both individually and in a team environment. A 
candidate with a B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
