Senior Manager, Internet Applications

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager, Internet 
Application's to manage all area relating to the design, creation and 
execution of Internet based technology i.e. scope out the project, build 
strategy with department heads, project manage the resulting program, 
budget, P&L, monitor and retrofit programs when necessary, etc. Though not 
the prime for client contact, the Senior Project Manager will be required to 
liaise with all relevant internal departments, supplier, and clients.
Competencies - Strong understanding of web-based and multimedia 
technologies including: HTML, Java scripting, CGI, Macro Media, and emerging 
technologies such as ASP (active server pages), CSS (cascading style 
sheets), RAD's (application development tools), interactive web forms and 
e-commerce. Strong understanding of server hosting, security, 
programming issues. Strong understanding of the creative and production 
process including graphic file production - both web and print based. 
Management level understanding of web based programming (Perl, C, C++, 
Tango, Cold Fusion) and appropriate applications for each. Ability to 
review and define specs, design business 
requirements and produce accurate estimates (including P&L) based on client 
needs and technical feasibility of individual projects (apply the right 
solution). Excellent proposal writing, written and oral communication, and 
presentation skills. Ability to manage the sales cycle and work effectively 
with other members of the account and project teams. A proven track record 
of project managing web based 
technology and account management skills including; project management, 
program development, leadership skills, communication skills, marketing 
processes and programs. Advanced computer skills including all 
Internet/Intranet related applications - FrontPage, PhotoShop, Netscape, 
FTP, etc. University educated. Toronto, Canada location.
