Information Architect/User Interface Designer

The Information Architect works with a team to provide the organization=20
of information (functionality, form and content) for Web sites and=20
applications. The IA balances the needs of the client with the needs of its
target=20
audiences. The IA specifies how users will find and interact with
information in=20
the site by defining its systems of organization, navigation, labeling and=
=20
searching.

This position works closely with our usability, strategy, design, and=20
technology teams to define what the companies =93blueprint=94 and user=
 interface=20
design for each project should be, integrating the team's contributions and=
=20
expertise. The IA must think in terms of information systems that are=
 logical,=20
intuitive, and easy to operate.

Qualifications include:=20
Degree in Information Science/User Interface Design preferred=20
2 Years experience in Information/Interface Design related field
Toolbox should include: Freehand or Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, HTML
Editors, etc.
Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
Thorough understanding of HTML, Javascript =B7 Excellent visual design=
 skills=20
Ability to stay informed of current design and technology trends
