Job Title #1: Specialized WebOS Engineer

Specialized WebOS Engineer WITH NEWSPAPER BACKGROUND, sought to help develop
customer projects using our WebOS solutions. As a WebOS Application=
 Developer,
you will have input into the design and implementation of custom solutions=
 for
on-line newspapers. You may also integrate third party products.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have IT/IS experience in a newspaper office. You must
also have experience with multi-platform UNIX/NT, Perl/Shell scripting,
Javascript (other OO a plus), Technical Support, Project Experience,
proficiency in Vi, Emacs, or other Unix text editor. Network experience, Web
Server (Apache preferred or Netscape), e-commerce a big plus.

Job Title #2: Customer Support Manager

The customer support manager will be responsible for managing a group of up=
 to
10 engineers responsible for the design and implementation of custom=
 solutions.
The manager will create and track software development schedules for the
developers and will work with program management and product marketing in
delivering quality products. This individual will perform management duties
including hiring, team building, resource allocation, performance reviews,=
 and
setting group priorities within the overall Engineering priorities.'

Requirements:

BS or equivalent work experience. Requires proven project management skills
with a track record of delivering quality products on time. Must be a team
player with strong motivational and team building skills, excellent
communication, organization, problem solving and people skills. Qualified
candidates will have experience with multi-platform UNIX/NT, Perl/Shell
scripting, Javascript (other OO a plus), Technical Support, Project=

Job Title #4:  Java Programmer

Qualifications:

- BSCS or equivalent experience
- Two years Java experience, primarily using AWT to build Applets
- Demonstrated understanding of HTTP, HTML and XML
- Understanding of general source code configuration management procedures,
experience with CVS helpful
- Ability to interpret, refine and prototype specifications stated in=
 English
text.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include working from English text specification of feature
requirements to prototype and design extensions to existing Java 1.1 applets
and designing and implementing new applets as required; documenting all
modifications and additions to the existing code base and using the CVS=
 source
code control system to manage source code. You will be working with others=
 to
elicit requirements, demonstrate prototypes and receive feedback/acceptance=
 of
proposed or accomplished implementations.


Job Title #5: Quality Assurance Engineer:

Qualifications:

-BSCS, BSCE or related degree
-2 years Java experience, Object Oriented Programming Design, HTML
-Experience with both NT and UNIX platforms- programming in both=
 environments
and experience using shell scripts and PERL.
-Database schema design =96 familiar with SQL commands, understanding of=
 basic
Database Schema design for relational Databases. Experience using MS SQL
Server, Oracle, and Sybase
-Web server =96Familiar with Netscape, IIS and Apache web servers.=20
-User Interface - UI design and usability. Familiar with content layout on=
 the
web and user interfaces for an application.=20
-Organizational Skills
-Interpersonal and Communication =96 Strong communication skills and easily
adaptable to the ever-changing environment of Internet software development

Must be flexible and highly motivated. Responsible for monitoring software
development projects and suggesting improvement in the software development
processes and software product quality. Will work with various software
development organizations within research and development to implement=
 standard
software testing process. Will identify SQA and testing processes, tools and
best known methods to help resolve issues and assist software teams in
implementing solutions. Applicant should be an expert in the full range of
software quality processes, with the ability to effectively transfer that
expertise to others.
