Previously a DC resident, I have relocated to Paris to work 
for a great french firm. I am now authorized to begin 
developing my own team and would love to bring on an 
american. Unfortunately salaries in France are not 
at all competitive with the USA. The candidates should be 
seriously interested in the experience and opportunity to 
live and work abroad.

My personal input is to add that the cost of living does 
somehow seem less here. I have managed to live with much 
the same lifestyle here with a much lower salary. Please

French Internet/Intranet Development Firm seeks fulltime 
Web Developer

Skills: 

Strong HTML + DHTML -required 
Strong javascript -required 
Image Optimization/Preparation for Web (production not 
design) - required 
Flash - preffered
Experience Working with existing .jsp pages -a plus 
Experience working with existing database structures -a plus 
CGI -a plus 
Windows NT Server knowledge (setting passwords, etc) -a plus

Description: 

The main service of our firm is the creation of custom 
software/Network/Internet solutions using primarily Java or 
Object oriented programming. The commercial website 
development has not been a strong focus until this year. 
The introduction of this new position is to respond 
to the growing demand for public/commercial Websites and 
would be a key position in the development of this website 
development team/Department. Therefore, this position has 
an excellent opportunity for advancement as new team 
members are added. 

The tasks for this position are: 

-to Create Dynamic Websites from provided design, structure 
and sometimes coding standards. 
-Work as a team to propose web solutions for clients. 
-Work with in-house advanced programmers (java, Database, 
WebObjects) and designers to create solid web solutions. 
-Work independantly with clients as needed. 
-Maintain Corporate websites (the site not the server)
