Global Product Manager 

Bolt's Global Product Manager is a cross-cultural leader, motivated by 
empowering teens. You are an extremely flexible thinker that values 
circular communication. In representing the Bolt brand worldwide, your 
focus will be to thoroughly understand and manage our Product Department's 
resources across Bolt's satellite offices. You will act as the glue between 
our diverse product staff and their varied talents. 

Global Design Manager 

Bolt's Design Manager is a master at structural and visual planning and 
management. You thoroughly understand the Bolt brand, and will work 
effortlessly to maintain the look and feel of our site cross-culturally. 
You will work out of our New York office, but be responsible for managing 
Bolt's design team all over the world. You are dedicated to maintaining the 
easiest and fastest loading site for teens globally.

BELOW IS TOP SECRET INFORMATION

As most of you know, Bolt is in the process of expanding globally. Our goal 
is to have three new sites launched by Q1- UK, Canada, and Australia! While 
we are working feverishly to establish ourselves abroad in these countries, 
the first step will be for us to place some key people here in our NY 
office. These people will act as liaisons between our NY team and the outer 
offices. We also plan to launch many additional sites throughout the year. 
The positions below will require some travel, and we are loookg for people 
that will fully understand and be able to structure the Bolt brand world 
wide. These people MUST have a dot com background AND global experience. 
We are looking for seasoned people here- 5 plus years product/design 
experience- no exceptions. These are NOT entry- or mid-level positions. 
Here are the job descriptions for these positions, and a mission statement.. 
I am holding off on giving salary req.. until I see the caliber of people 
that we are getting. For the right person, we are willing to pay well.

Mission: 
The goal of Bolt opening distinct sites outside the United States is to 
empower teens and give them a voice that will not get drowned out by the 
millions of US teens on Bolt.com today. In addition, while many of teens' 
concerns are the same around the world, there are also national differences 
affecting teen culture (i.e. different pressing news events, film release 
dates, or popular styles of music). Bolt's localized sites will have their 
fingers directly on the pulse of teen culture in each country.
