UI Design Developer

Design Developers play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of our
web applications. As part of multidisciplinary teams, they advise our design
teams on the practical application of their design proposals and work with the
development team to create a seamless integration of client and server side
technologies. In short, with creativity and innovation, they bring out the best
in the interface. 

Responsibilities: 
The UI Design Developer is responsible for the creation of all final coded HTML
pages and templates to be handed off to the server-side programming engineers.
They will assist the Visual Designers in verifying the feasibility of the
design and with preparation of files for production. Other roles include
creating site style guides, creating prototypes, specifying functionality,
contributing to the project documentation, implementation guidelines, and
maintenance guidelines. 

Experience: 
2 years experience as an interactive designer/developer focused on
internet-related projects. Knowledge of HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and
cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility issues. Knowledge of Photoshop
and image optimization tools. Additionally, experience with Java, ASP, and

Quality Assurance Specialist

The Lead Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for testing major
aspects of e-business systems built for our customers. This person will
technically lead a team of up to 5 specialists in the development and execution
of testing plans in support of the Professional Services Group. Testing may
encompass both functional and performance testing. A comprehensive
understanding of applicable testing methodologies is essential combined with
the ability to quickly implement a solution using test automation - where
appropriate. Be an essential part of the development team and developing a good
working relation with that team. The position requires this person to maintain
a project schedule, an issue tracking system and report project status to the
Quality Manager. 

Essential duties and responsibilities: 
Lead the Quality Assurance efforts by testing various aspects of an e-business
system based on the nature of the development effort. 
Work closely with developers to ensure that high quality new functionality is
successfully integrated into the system. 
Analyze software designs and architect effective tests for that design. 
Use existing testing tools including troubleshooting, support and innovative
uses of the tools 
Develop test documentation including test plans and procedures, and oversee the
execution of these plans and procedures by other team members 
Collaborate with other members of the Professional Services Group to improve
and ensure quality throughout the entire project lifecycle including making
suggestions to implement testing features, if appropriate 
Gather test/performance data and apply analysis techniques to identify areas
for further analysis 
Maintain a issue tracking system for the project 
Participate in all phases of development cycle to ensure delivery of high
quality products 
Develop and maintain a project schedule for all work done by the QA team he/she
is leading 
Possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be able to
effectively present testing requirements, strategies and results to customers
