Web Developer

You should be a heavyweight programmer, with at last 2 years experience in=
=20
web development, preferrably for a well known web agency.

Database design using MS Access and SQL Server. This is of fundamental=20
importance as the majority of sites we build are database driven. Active=20
Server Pages OR ColdFusion - the SQL code used to take information from the=
=20
database and display it on a web page. At least 2 years commercial=20
experience at either of these is of fundamental importance. Ideally you=20
would have both, but the priority is ColdFusion.

You should have at least 2 years SOLID experience of ColdFusion and thus be=
=20
highly advanced. As an example, you should have built - or been part of a=20
team which has built - a complex e-commerce web site using ColdFusion.

Other languages which would be of significant benefit are: VB Script,=20
Javascript, XML, DHTML.

A BSc Computer Science degree or similar, knowledge and qualifications in=20
Windows NT and Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server) is important but=
=20
less vital than the programming knowledge set out above.

Typical Work:
Meeting with the client to discuss projects. Discussion on how best to=20
achieve in programming terms a web site's objective. Supervising and=20
educating a minimum of 2 programmers. Reporting on new technological=20
developments. Building e-commerce and dynamic database driven web sites.=20
Setting up sites with SQL Server. Building web based and non-web based=20
administration tools to enable clients to update sites. Together with=20
myself, attending meetings with big potential clients.

Salary of =A340k to =A350K depending on experience.
You must also either be a British Citizen or have hold a full UK work=
 permit.
