Job Description

This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. The Web Producer
will report to the Executive Vice President of Technology and will be
responsible within the HTML Production Department for HTML production,
testing, and maintenance of feature content. The Web Producer will
participate in all phases of the development process including design,
development, testing, release, and maintenance.

Skills/Qualifications

The qualified candidate will possess at least one to two years of HTML
production experience in a large Web-based production environment,
excellent communication skills (written and oral), superb HTML coding
skills and technique, a working knowledge of javascript, and cgi
integration. Desirable, but not required qualities would include one
year experience in project management and familiarity with testing
protocols.

Responsibilities

The Web Producer is responsible for:
* Efficient and effective execution of projects meeting with ThirdAge
production standards and goals.
* Communication of project status and coordination of aggregate
components in an accurate and timely manner where deadlines and project
goals are achieved.
* Execution of HTML programming where code quality is high, complies
with Production Department specifications, and bugs are relatively low.
* Participation in conceptual development of content with other
indicated departments such as Engineering and Art.
* Testing and maintenance of content.
