Senior Web Developer

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for the front-end functionality of 
the website. Working closely with the Marketing, Editorial and Engineering 
departments, you will have the opportunity to create and maintain pages on 
a high-traffic, quickly-evolving web site. Manage the day-to-day production 
of the website, including content management, data and traffic reporting, 
and back end integration.

Skills:

Strong technical understanding of existing Web standards (DHTML, VB Script, 
JavaScript, ASP, CGI), platforms (Unix, NT and MS 2000), servers (IIS, 
Netscape, Apache), back-end technology (SQL, Listservs of various sorts) 
and authoring environments. Working knowledge of site management tools 
(such as traffic reporting and content management tools), and technical 
site maintenance policies and procedures. Ability to lead and work in small 
groups, collaborate, handle multiple priorities, and communicate 
efficiently. 3 years experience needed. People management skills a plus.
