Web Coder

Define and build the front-end elements of the Web site, especially the
elements that comprise the customer experience, while implementing the
content and designs of the creative team. Work daily with designers.
Modify and experiment with the site templates in accordance with the
goals set by design and marketing departments. Coding of Web pages in
HTML or appropriate scripting languages. Liaison and integrate with
software engineers. Own the Web site structure and navigation for the
customer and drive the programming and content of the site according to
design, marketing and customer care objectives. Stay abreast of new
Internet technologies, help advocate the value of new technologies
within the company and where applicable learn the new technologies

Requirements: At least one year of professional experience in technical
development of online services or commercial Web sites. Must be an HTML
expert with knowledge of Web dynamic applications. Java helpful.
Experience with Web site flow charts and with map design preferred.
Ability to work autonomously, while leading personnel who are not direct
reports. Good problem-solving skills, good verbal and written
communication skills, and the ability to work in a self-motivated
fashion within a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Experience with
some RDBMSs and SQL is helpful. Must have legal status to work in the
United States
