Web/Graphic Designer

Informatica Corporation, located in Palo Alto, California is looking for a
talented web graphic designer to join our Creative Services team. The
company has experienced tremendous growth, and is rapidly becoming the
acknowledged leader in E-Business Analytical Applications. This position
offers a lot of visibility and a fantastic chance to grow with us!
The right candidate will be a clear and direct communicator, ready to
contribute to building a compelling and dynamic web presence.

Requirements

Minimum two years experience in Web design backed up by at least two URLs
for which you were the primary designer (concept, look and feel).

Experience creating web banners, graphics, animaged gifs, and web pages.
Must have a solid background in traditional graphic design, layout, and
typography.

Must be highly self-motivated, able to work well under tight deadlines
and pressure.

Candidate should be very organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy a good
challenge.

Finally, we are looking for a team player, ready to share knowledge and
open to learning from others.

Technical Skills

Expert knowledge in: Photoshop 5.5, Illustrator 8.0
Working knowledge of the web. Knowledge of Imageready, Fireworks and
Flash a plus. Familiarity with html, dhtml, javascript and cgi helpful.



Web Content Producer

Informatica Corporation, located in Palo Alto, California is looking for a
talented web content producer to join our Creative Services team. The
company has experienced tremendous growth, and is rapidly becoming the
acknowledged leader in E-Business Analytical Applications. This position
offers a lot of visibility and a fantastic chance to grow with us!

The right candidate will be a clear and direct communicator, ready to
contribute to building a compelling and dynamic web presence.

Work with Corporate Web Marketing and IS to create/edit HTML-encoded Web
pages according to established specifications and processes. Process images
for compatibility with the Web (5%). Some understanding of javascript and
PERL, enough to design web forms and maintain pages using graphics provided
by Creative Services. Fix layout, textual, linking, and other bugs in HTML
documents.

Candidate would have proven html skills without the aid of helper
applications such as Microsoft Front Page. At least one year experience on a
large scale Web site. Comfortable with working in both technical and
marketing environment, and all levels of personnel. Knowledge of database
technology a MAJOR plus.
