Position Title: Technical Writer
Location: Austin, TX

ObjectSpace Fab Solutions, a developer of innovative, productivity-enhancing
software products for semiconductor manufacturers worldwide, is seeking a
Technical Writer to join its growing Austin team. The Technical Writer
produces on-line documentation for Catalyst, our Advanced Process Control
(APC) software product.

Key Responsibilities
* Writing on-line help
* Interviewing developers to gather information
* Writing procedures to use Catalyst Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs)
* Writing context-sensitive help for dialog boxes
* Updating on-line documentation to reflect new product features
* Writing release notes and frequently asked questions
* Indexing on-line help pages
* Creating tutorial movies for on-line help
* Identifying parts of the documentation to enhance
* Testing usability of documentation

Required Skills
* Excellent writer
* Strong editor
* Microsoft Word
* Windows environment

Required Experience
* 2+ years professional writing

* RoboHELP HTML edition
* On-line help presentation
* Visual SourceSafe
* Visio
* Knowledge of software development process
