OPEN POSITION:
eCommerce Solutions Provider (full-time)

REPORTS TO:
Director of Professional Services.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
The eCommerce Solutions Provider will be an outstanding hands-on technical
individual capable of implementing state-of-the-art Java applications. This
current opportunity is viewed by senior management as indispensable to
company's success. You will be primarily in a consultative customer and
partner-serving role, and work cross-functionally with input from services,
marketing, sales and engineering to construct and implement eCommerce
infrastructure solutions for leading B2B, B2C, Fortune 500, and eRetailing
organizations worldwide.

Duties will include all facets of consultative customer and partner
interaction, including:
* Pre-sales consulting
* Requirements definition
* Installation
* Configuration
* Application integration
* Customization
* System monitoring and
* Maintenance.

As the eCommerce Solutions Provider develops a track record of success with
project implementations, he/she will have the opportunity to move within
the professional services department. Potential activities could include:
* Supporting and educating customer and partner personnel,
* Helping to build the company's education and training programs,
* Assisting in the development of the company's product line, and
* Participating in the management of the growth of our professional
services organization.

Travel expectation for this position is forecast to be 25%-75% for the
first year, less thereafter if desired.

NECESSARY SKILLS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
2-4 years of customer on-site services experience is REQUIRED. Candidates
with previous experience at a recognized new media or Internet consulting
company are especially encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding and hands-on
experience with Web architecture, firewalls, enterprise and eCommerce
software integration, and connectivity. Also mandatory is a working
knowledge of:
* Java,
* Enterprise JavaBeans,
* HTML / XML / DHTML,
* N-tier solutions,
* Application servers,
* Servlets.

Additional knowledge in database and dataflow will be very helpful.
Platform knowledge, in order of preference: NT, Unix (Solaris), and Linux.
Particular attention will be paid to candidates possessing any experience
working with:
* Broadvision,
* Ariba,
* Vignette, or
* Other leading eCommerce software packages.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA Computer Science OR Equivalent experience and degrees.
COMPENSATION:

With only a couple of months to the company's second round of funding
(which is already over-subscribed), candidates to start in time will
receive more stock options & closer to the lower priced Series A price.
