This position will design web architectures for corporate Intranet and
Extranet web sites. Position will interface with other IT departments,
outside vendors, and other organizations at eBay. Will also design and
develop web applications for our corporate intranet, and extranet web sites.

1. Define the technical platforms and architecture for enterprise web 
applications.
2. Develop technical, tactical, and strategic plans, systems definition and
feasibility determination.
3. Create systems architecture and design system environments for database
and web servers; ensure reliability, scalability and security for transaction
processing.

Skills Required:

Proven problem solving skills, excellent verbal & written skills.
Experience in designing and developing Intranet and Extranet solutions.
Experience in development and design of Internet/Intranet or Extranet based 
applications and services.
Hands on experience with Web technology, tools, UNIX, NT,
TCP/IP, firewalls, electronic certification, CGI, HTML, DHTML, XML,
Application Servers. Webmaster and project management experience a plus.
Experience with interfaces to legacy systems, middle-ware, relational
databases, and working with vendors to determine best applications for
business needs
