Summary
Under the direction of Manager of Web Development, is responsible for the
production, maintenance and growth of Intira's web presence. This involves
developing client-side code and working in such technologies as HTML,
Javascript, Perl, Flash and streaming and non-streaming multimedia. This
will include, but is not limited to, creating and maintaining web pages and
applications and Marketing programs on all Intira web sites.

Responsibilities
* Production and maintenance of web pages in that adhere to coding
standards and style guide.
* Production of visual and audio components (e.g. graphics, streaming,
animations) that support written content.
* Developing client side functionality in Javascript, Perl
* In a production environment manages the integration of information
design and project concept.
* Coordinating content input from various groups in the Marketing
organization, as well as other departments
* Managing a variety of Web projects in collaboration with content
owners, taking a project from requirements gathering phase, to design,
implementation and post launch maintenance responsibilities.
* Exploring and implementing opportunities for the web site to
contribute to Intira's marketing efforts
* Unit testing at the page and site level

Skills/Qualifications
* 2 years web development experience in a production environment.
* In depth knowledge of HTML
* Knowledge of client-side technology or scripting language (e.g.
Perl, Javascript).
* Knowledge of internet networking protocols such as FTP, telnet, ssh
* Experience with standard web development tools, such as HTML
editors, image processing applications etc.
* Working knowledge of UNIX, Windows and Mac client environments
* Ability to tactically address and advocate the end-user experience.
* A strong sense for user interface design and information
architecture in line with the web communication paradigm
* Understanding of browser capabilities and design constraints on the
web as well as a comprehension of information design. Functional design
background a plus
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability and desire to deliver projects on time with high quality.
* Experience working in and with teams.
* Marketing experience a plus.
* Excellent communication, project management and multi-tasking and
follow through skills
* BA or BS in a related field or equivalent training/experience
