Pre-IPO chocolate company is looking for a CTO to be responsible for all
technology including website development, e-commerce, database mgt.,
financial applications, implementation of order fulfillment solutions,
and warehouse mgt. software.

Responsible for building teams to cover all production and technical
needs.

Developers, programmers, Db and system administrators, and HTML coders
will work closely with you to plan and implement projects.

Evaluate technology platforms, software applications and development
tools and oversee in-house and outsourced integration and
implementation.

Develop and manage a budget.

Hire and manage a technical team.

Oversee an internal information technology department.

Technical presentations to potential investors.

Write and/or oversee the creation of technical documents, including
functional specs and documentation.

Must possess the following skills:
UNIX, Windows NT, Mac, C or C++, Perl, Java, CGI, HTML/DHTML/XML,
streaming media, database: Oracle, e-commerce, website development and
maintenance, solid project mgt, communication and presentation skills.
Minimum 2 years management experience preferred.
BS in Computer Science and Internet start-up experience a plus.
