Job Title: Information Architect

Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients to learn the business processes behind their company
and their Web site
- Determine the Web site's target audience and explore the user experience
- Determine the site's functionality, structure and navigational scheme
- Work with technical personnel to develop functionality and interface
elements that blend well with the technical aspects of the site
- Create deliverables such as site maps, functional maps, page mock-ups, and
prototypes for presentation to the client
- Provide the user interface designers with mock-ups, site maps and other
specification materials needed to develop an effective and intuitive
interface

Qualifications:
- Degree in technical communications, human-computer interaction, graphic
design or related field
- 1 to 2 years experience interacting with clients in a Web environment
- Portfolio of previous experience with information organization for
large-scale Web initiatives
- Broad understanding of the Web development process from start to finish
- Knowledge of flowcharting, storyboarding, interface design and information
design
- Able to communicate effectively with designers, technical staff and
clients
- Excellent presentation and client relations skills
