Job Title:
Web site Specialist

Description:
Assists with the overall operation and support of electronic
information, maintenance, and updates to the Clerk's official Web site.
Apply in a timely manner appropriate policies and procedures pertaining
to the dissemination of electronic information. The candidate will
assist in the creation of web graphics and special interactive web
exhibits for the Clerk's Web site.

Experience:
Temperament to communicate with a variety of personalities in a tactful,
pleasant and professional manner.
Strong organizational, written, and oral communications skills are
required. Works well under pressure, handles stress appropriately and
performs major duties above. A Bachelors degree in a related field and
two years experience in web design, Windows NT, Windows 95, HTML, ASP,
Perl, Java Script, CGI scripting, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver,
Fireworks or Image Ready is required. Must be competent in the operation
on IBM-PC compatible computer systems, have a working knowledge of the
congressional legislative process, have an analytical mind, and be
detail oriented.

Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a
criminal history records check. Employment with the U.S. House of
Representatives is at-will.
