LEAD TECHNOLOGIST

Responsibilities:
* Build world class web sites for our clients.
* Administer any number of complex executional strategies on the web,
quickly and knowledgeably.
* Have a broader understanding of the entire scope of work and needs
of a client, and be able to bring that to fruition.
* Effectively communicate with team members and the client.
* Oversee and generate the Technical Requirements Document for each
individual project.
* Participate in defining business requirements and functional
definition of systems to support the business.
* Mentor the technology team, keeping them motivated and appropriately
billable.
* Push the state-of-the-art with every creation and thrive in our
fast-paced environment.

Skills and Characteristics:
* Must be wildly creative and passionate about interactive media.
* Mastery of HTML, DHTML, Cross Browser. Issues and JavaScript a must.
* Ability to quickly digest new and complex technologies.
* Experience with supervision of other technologist in a team
environment.
* Ability to learn how to integrate third party technology, such as
content management systems, e-commerce systems, e-mail systems,
personalization system etc.
* Solid understanding of Information architecture, how web
applications should flow
and what constitutes good navigation.
* Broad understanding of other web related technologies, such as the
basics of graphic design, optimization, cut sheets, graceful browser
degregation, DOM (Document Object Model), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets),
Plugin technologies, such as Flash, Beatnik, Realaudio/video.
* Skills such as ASP, SQL, Perl and PHP and general abstract
programming are helpful.
* B.S. Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent in professional
experience desirable.
